The Wolvi Hall is set in the beautiful countryside of Wolvi.
It is ideal for social events, weddings, workshops & conferences.
Plenty of parking available.
Wolvi Hall, established in 1926, serves as a vibrant community hub in Wolvi, Queensland. The hall hosts regular social evenings, including Open Mic Nights on the first Friday of every month (excluding January) and Ladies Night (craft and social connection) on the first Tuesday of every month. Additional activities encompass annual Anzac Day Service, State of Origin screenings, No Lights No Lycra, and family social nights.
Adjacent to the hall, the Slater-Eaton Playground offers a space for children to play. The hall is wheelchair accessible, featuring a main entry suitable for wheelchairs and internal movement ease.
For private functions, the hall is available for hire.

Wolvi straddles an area of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland where dairy farms and granite blend gently into thick sub-tropical jungle. Following the one dirt road for an hour can deliver you from an almost-English lushness with a slow migration of grazing cows and explosions of bougainvillea and jacaranda into tall tangles of palms and vines.
A short drive up from the hall there’s a beautiful lookout back to the Noosa coast, tucked in amidst old farms and a private cemetery – but you have to be willing to brave a herd of interested (and noisy!) cows to get to the view.

Wolvi Hall is getting an accessible bathroom!
We’re excited to share that Wolvi Hall has received funding through the Queensland Government’s Honouring our Veterans Grants Program.
This grant, combined with years of community fundraising, will allow us to build an accessible bathroom inside the hall.
These new facilities will ensure everyone in our community has fair and dignified access. Construction is expected to be finished by August 2026, and we can’t wait to see the difference it will make.

Introducing our official Wolvi Hall theme song, released at our 100th birthday party!
The official Wolvi Hall theme song by Laura Murray celebrates the heart, history and spirit of the hall and the community that brings it to life. A wider range of instruments weaves throughout the song to reflect the hall’s diversity, its people and the many different experiences it brings together.
Laura Murray joined our community in 2022 and quickly became part of what makes it so special. After attending one of our Open Mic Nights, she realised that while Wolvi Hall had plenty of talent, laughter and community spirit, it didn’t have an official theme song. So, as a gift to the community she had grown to love, she decided to write one.
Born and raised in Melbourne, Laura attended the Johnny Young Talent School and performed with various theatre companies, including touring in musical productions during her younger years. Her love of music, performance and the arts began early, but life eventually took her in another direction. Focused on building her future, she completed high school and university in Brisbane, stayed in Queensland, and music gradually moved from centre stage to the sidelines.
Fast forward to 2022, and with some gentle encouragement from Margaret, Graham, Phil, Cathy, Sharon, Rob, Dave, John, Kaara, her husband Lee and his dad Kieron, Laura found the confidence and inspiration to start writing again. She also stepped back onto a stage for the first time in more than 20 years, aside from the occasional karaoke competition that had kept the spark alive.
Today, Laura has rekindled her passion for songwriting and music, proving it is never too late to return to something you love. The Wolvi Hall theme song is not only her gift to the community, but a reminder of the power of encouragement, friendship and belonging. It is also a heartfelt thank you to a community that nurtures local talent and helps people rediscover passions and abilities that may simply have been waiting for the right moment to shine again.

Saturday 11th July is our 100th Birthday Party, with historical displays, birthday cake, lunch and kids activities.
Sunday 12th July is the Mystery History Bus Tour of Wolvi. Two tour options (morning and afternoon) and lunch.
