The Wolvi Hall officially opened Friday 2nd July 1926. The opened their doors in style with a dance, a full orchestra, and 'First Class' refreshments.

Dorothy "Topsy" Bath was a highly successful showjump and horse sports competitor. A fabulous Wolvi lady and a successful equestrian.
The Fins* were keen sportsmen and athletes and at any sports day they could be found throwing javelin and discus and running among many other things. According to Jim Shaw " they won almost every athletics event".

In about 1912 Allan Stewart selected land at Coondoo and to honour his Scottish heritage, named the property "The Glen". He married Julia Gallen in 1916.
Allan and Julia had 8 children: Mary (Buckley), Brenda (Gleeson), Ayleen (Crawford), Murray, Paul, Patrick, James, Margaret (Lucey).
